ECI has worked on dozons of cellular tower projects provinding services such as general contracting and sitework, foundations, access roads, antennae installation and sweeping, tower erection, grounding systems, guy anchors, snow plowing, road maintenance, etc.
Pleasant
Acres Farm: This site was constructed at an operating farm in
Ferrisburgh, Vermont. The antennas were installed within a fiberglass
extension to the harvester silo. The support buildings were built
to appear as the other farm buildings.
Robbins
Mountian, Bolton, Vermont: ECI was the general contractor
for installing a new cellular phone antenna and transmission/receiving
equipment on an existing tower at the top of Robbins Mountain.
The site is not serviced by a road. All equipment and materials
were transported by snowmobile, all-terrain 4-wheeler, and helicopter.
Communications
Tower at WCAX-TV: This 100-foot-tall unguyed monopole was
installed in three sections adjacent to the WCAX television studio
in South Burlington, Vermont. The tower is supported on a 6-foot-diameter
drilled pier bearing on bedrock at a depth of about 36 feet below
ground.
Irish Hill Cellular Tower: ECI was responsible for sitework,
utility installation, and foundation construction for this cellular
antenna during the winter months. The foundation was a 54 cubic
yard monolithic pour. All access to this project was from the
one mile long temporary construction road built by ECI. Equipment,
materials, and a 26 ton precast building for the project were
towed up the steep grades with a bulldozer.
Rock of Ages Cellular Tower: This project was built at
the top of the mountain where Rock of Ages granite quarry is located
in Barre, Vermont. The project included a monolithic concrete
foundation and construction of about ½ mile of electrical
lines with poles to the site.
