Safety Focus of the Week- Working with Aluminum Trench Boxes – Revisited
Aluminum trench boxes have some significant advantages where working in shallow depths requiring a relatively short trench length
– Lightweight for easier transport and handling in the trench
– Smaller footprint for tight quarters
– Easily assembled and adjustable to different widths
– Requires smaller excavator to handle.
Of course the disadvantages are just as obvious:
– Limited Depth and Length
– Easily Damaged
