Safety Focus of the Week: Stretching Exercises (Revisited)
Stretching can help improve your flexibility which helps to prevent joint/tendon/muscle injuries. For best stretching results:
- Warm up with light exercising first.
- Don’t stretch to the pain limit. Stretching should feel good.
- Hold the stretch for about 30 seconds
- Check with your doctor or physical therapist if you are working with an injury.
