The specific focus for this week is the Slip & Trip concern. This is the time of year when Slip & Trip incidents are common because of icy surfaces. Proper planning on the job site can significantly reduce the risk of injury:
- Good Housekeeping – Keep the jobsite picked up. This is everyone’s duty.
- Establish walking paths around the dangerous and icy areas.
- Dismount equipment properly.
- Keep pedestrians and workers away from icy slopes above excavations.
