Vermont State Archive Fire Water Storage System

ECI proposed a Design/Built Alternate storage tank for the fire protection system at the Vermont State Archives in Middlesex, VT. The original steel tank option exceeded the owners budget. ECI proposed a 45 x 45 x 6-ft cast-in-place concrete tank built below an existing recreational field. The tank capacity was 80,000 gallons. Special waterproofing and concrete mix designs were used to assure the integrity of the tank.
