Interstate 91 Rutfill Project

AC Paving Corporation was the low bidder for the Rutfill Project on I-91 in 2006.  The Rutfill projects involve cold planing and repaving of segments of the interstate that have been most severely rutted by truck wheels.  Rutfill is a relatively simple and cost effective repair for this common problem along many of the interstate highways.

Scope of Work:

• 89,000 sy of cold planing of existing travel lanes

• Maintenance of traffic

• Installation of 6,200 tons of bituminous asphalt pavement

• Pavement markings
