Emergency Response

For years, ECI has successfully provided emergency services to the City of Burlington, Towns of: Essex, Williston, Bolton, Shelburne, Richmond, Fairfax, Stowe Mountain Resort, and Champlain Water District. When ECI is your on-call contractor we provide rapid response to the emergency needs of your community.

Our emergency services generally include the repair of waterline breaks, sewer failures, roadway and parking lot sink holes, storm drainage failures, and flood damage. However, we also provide emergency service response to Railroad companies to assist with drainage failures, flood damage, train de-derailment, and other railroad related emergencies.

ECI typically receives calls for emergency work during the off hours with most work occurring in the middle of the night and into the next day. ECI is very fortunate to have highly dedicated employees that answer the calls and make personal sacrifices to serve our company and the communities that rely on us. The crews do this work without a ton of support from vendors, suppliers, etc. as they are all typically closed for business when we are called out. ECI maintains a large inventory for water, sewer, and stormwater pipe repair and also maintains bins of certain aggregates for backfilling and rebuilding roadway and parking subbase.

ECI has an extensive fleet of heavy equipment, heavy trucks, specialty equipment, and specialty tools. We also maintain a fleet of trenchless technologies equipment which allows our team to install pipes and sleeves where open cut is not feasible or economical.
