Lime Kiln Substation Retaining Wall
ECI’s Client: Vermont Electric Company (VELCO) & Green Mountain Power (GMP)

Subcontractors: Maine Drilling & Blasting (Blasting & Rock Dowel Drilling)
ECI installed this Redi-Rock precast concrete block retaining wall for an electric substation project. The wall consists of over 2,700 blocks with a face area of about 15,600 square feet. The project was the largest single wall project ever supplied by Carroll Concrete. ECI installed as many as 9 truckloads of blocks per day which far exceeded Carroll’s previous record delivery rate of 5 trucks/day.
